My 2006 Pilot with 189k on the clock and now I'm considering CarShield. But the problem is I heard mixed things though. The sales representative I talked to wasn't great and the website isn't that useful either LOL. Why do they do this... Anyway, is anyone here using CarShield and is it worth it? Or is it just a scam? Talk some sense to me, yall.

I don't have a direct experience with CarShield but I think a colleague had a hard time making claims.
I don't know any other info beyond that but it sounds too stressful.
Maybe also try to explore your options with Endurance or CARCHEX?
It might be helpful to get multiple quotes, compare the coverage, and of course, read the entire contract!

With 189k miles on your 2006 Pilot, are you mainly looking for coverage on major powertrain repairs, or are you hoping CarShield will help with smaller issues too despite the age?
