Snow trouble with my rims last winter

Last winter my rims kept filling with snow, throwing the wheels out of balance and highway driving was rough. I usually cleared it by rinsing at a car wash, which helped for a while, but I am now thinking, should I replace the rims, or is there a better long-term fix Honda might cover?

Switching to a wheel with fewer pockets helps, but most people just live with rinsing them out and I doubt Honda would cover it since it's more design than defect
