honda pilot side garnish query

got 2006 honda pilot and i need to take off the right front door molding
i think honda calls it a side garnish
is it held on with clips?? any tips would help before I start pulling it off?

Yeahh, Honda calls it a "side garnish," and it's mostly held on with clips and on the 2006 Pilot, its a mix of plastic clips and adhesive. before you start, use something for plastic trim removal so you don't scratch the paint, then from one end, gently pry it outwards, it could be held on with adhesive, then you have to use a heatgun or hairdryer to soften it, then also check for screws too
just make sure to go slow, and don't yank too hard to avoid breaking the clips

The shop that fixed my rear quarter panel a few years back said door moldings are a pain to remove and are best replaced whenever taken off.

I'm new to working on my 2008 Pilot and didn't even know it was called a "side garnish." Quick question, aare replacement clips easy to find if a few break? Appreciate the help!
