I told my sis in law id ask you all for advice since they've got a CRV and Odyssey and are thinking about getting a Pilot soon. They need help picking one out so any tips would be great!
What older Pilot years should they go for or skip and why? I mean the boxy ones before they started looking like minivans. im not sure when that switch happened and the newer Hondas all look the same to me now. we got a 2004 Pilot and it feels way roomier than the newer ones. we use it like a truck like hauling 4x4 plywood or drywall sheets no rack needed. we fit 2x8s and 2x10s inside with the back shut sliding them up to the dash. its got 6ft from the rear to the front seat backs. we even squeezed in a 6ft cabinet once bungeeing the back closed. They want the most space possible in a Pilot newer than our 2004. i think the older boxy ones have more room but I could be wrong. If you think newer models (not super new) are just as big which ones should they check out??
They got two kids 12 and 8 and want a third row for extra people sometimes, but also need it to fold away for tons of storage. they travel from Michigan to New York twice a year for two weeks packing clothes activity stuff and gift like a dresser this time. Space and value are key. Any advice??
