What's the best feature on 1st gen Honda Pilot?

I got this 2008 Honda pilot, now has around 140 miles and runs happily and great. I've seen a lot of Honda HRV first gen in my town, I wonder what other owners think about their cars? Feel free to spill your mind about the first gen here

I've had my first-gen HR-V for a year now, and honestly, it's been a solid little car. Super practical, great on gas, and the Magic Seats are a game changer for cargo space. But I know the ride can be a bit stiff, and it's not exactly fast, but it gets the job done. If you don't mind the quirks, it's a great daily driver and I certainly don't mind the quirks, so I'm good

it's known for its strong reliability. many of the 1st gen owners still use their cars after 20 years cause they're still work well!

Oh well, I see plenty around town too, and while it's not a flashy car, it feels honest, I dont know if that makes sense like it's been through its share of stories and still keeps going, do people actually appreciate it for what it is, or is it another old SUV or maybe I'm just being sentimental lol

I'm not sure which model you're asking about but a very satisfied 2006 Honda Pilot owner here!
I picked it up back in the day and it's been my reliable companion ever since. I'm currently sitting at around 210,000 miles on the odometer, and it genuinely runs as happily and great as it did years ago!
The VTEC still kicks in strong, the transmission shifts smoothly, and I've only had to do regular maintenance and a few wear-and-tear items over the years. Thankfully, no major headaches nor catastrophic failures!
It's truly a testament to Honda's engineering from that era.
If the HR-V from that period is anything like my Pilot, I'd imagine owners are pretty happy campers!

hi @everyone, good to be back here and thanks for the reply! I just realized that I mentioned the wrong car here. I mean the Honda Pilot guys! lol. my wife's HRV was all over my head at that time bcs she kept reminding me to replace the brake pads

hi @delta45.hp nice to meet you! I was asking about honda pilot lol. sorry for the typo, as I was also researching my wife's HRV issue at that time.
and about the pilot, I feel the same way too, I bought my pilot second hand, and I have it for over a decade now. it's been running without serious issue. I feel lucky!

@Pilatesmaster IKR! I thought I was the only one who saw this car all around the city haha. I guess people like pilot way more than I thought. I like it tho' lol

@MasterOfPuppets Haha yeah the Pilot's one of those rigs that just keeps showing up everywhere without trying too hard. The rear cargo space is hands down my favorite part though since it's perfect for camping gear or hauling random Home Depot runs.

I agree with @delta45.hp on the VTEC still pulling strong. That engine just refuses to quit if you take care of it.
